Truth be told, all of my work could be described as mixed media.
I can’t resist sticking a vintage word or image onto a painting. Or painting on a collage. Blending bits and pieces of ephemera with a painted image, hand stamping words onto vintage ledger paper satisfies my tactile and design instincts. I’ve always been fascinated by vintage images, sheet music, old tintypes - the visual history of lives already lived.
