ARCHITECTURAL SALVAGE “To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk.” Thomas Edison I have haunted flea markets and antique shops since I was in high school. And collected, collected, collected. I hoarded my treasures in the studio. They were good company and fun to sift through. After years of painting flat images I had an urge to make something three dimensional. I dug into my junk collections and these characters and shrines emerged. I now have a new collection - power tools - so I can build these pieces. |
